This course is ideal for those who wish to work in the social care sector. It allows you to build on the skills and knowledge you have accumulated in the first year (Diploma 90) of this course. From here, you can progress to one of our degree courses that are accredited by either the University of Greenwich or Canterbury Christchurch University.

  • Entry Requirements

    4 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (A*-C), including English and Maths, or a Level 2 qualification (Merit or Distinction) in a related subject. 

  • Assessment
    • Assessment is by coursework and assignments, which are both internally and externally assessed
    • You are required to attend college and a work placement in care homes, youth settings, nurseries, schools, rehabilitation centres and nursing homes
  • Moving Forward
    • Health and Social Care Foundation Degree (with University of Greenwich)
    • Social Work BA (Hons) (with Canterbury Christchurch University)
